Writing is lonely. Don’t go it alone.
Stories are just better when creatives collaborate like they do in the film, television, and music industries.
Without a partner to motivate you and hold you accountable for the work, you’re left wondering if what you’ve written is any good – and that’s only if you finish the manuscript that’s been collecting dust on your hard drive for two years.
So why are you still dragging your feet as a solo author?
In November 2017, a handful of ambitious writers met J. Thorn and Zach Bohannon in Chicago to begin the adventure of a lifetime, “Authors on a Train.” The crew departed the Windy City and checked in to their overnight sleeper car on Amtrak’s City of New Orleans. After arriving in the historic French Quarter, the authors began crafting co-written stories to comprise a New Orleans-themed anthology published by Molten Universe Media on Amazon, Kobo, iTunes, and more.
J. and Zach led intensive workshops throughout the week at the city’s coolest co-working space, LaunchPad New Orleans. The dynamic duo showed the authors how to be more productive, write better stories using the Story Grid methodology, and utilize marketing strategies that sell more books to the right readers.
Listen to what the pioneering “Authors on a Train” had to say about their life-changing experience.
J. Thorn & Zach Bohannon are the co-owners of Molten Universe Media, masters of collaboration, and a pair of Amazon Top 100 Horror Authors. Dawn, the first book in their Final Awakening trilogy hit 1,000,000 page reads in its first 100 days on Amazon. Zach has a long history of entrepreneurial ventures. J. has a Master’s Degree in Education and has been teaching in one form or another for 22 years.
The guys are doing it again – the only “Authors on a Train” retreat in 2018 with less than ten seats available. Are you ready to level up your author career?
